We left Arizona on Oct. 18, 2010 and returned on Nov. 1st after driving over 4,000 miles. We visited Jim’s family in Ohio (Trish got to meet everyone for the first time), and we celebrated Jim’s mother’s 93rd birthday…early. The next stop was Silvis, Illinois to visit Trish’s best friend from high school, Karen. Last stop was Colorado Springs to visit Trish’s daughter, Melanie. While there we went to the annual Emma Crawford Coffin Race in Manitou Springs.

Driving north on the 101 in Scottsdale yesterday, I was taking photos of clouds with my cell phone. I never noticed the funnel cloud until that evening when I was looking through my photos!
