The triple digit temperatures are back and that means I’ll be staying indoors during the day for the next few months. I have some photo ideas in mind that I can shoot in the studio, as well as some night photography outdoors. I’m always looking for new techniques to learn and new subjects to photograph, and I’m open to ideas & suggestions if you have any. I love a good challenge!

Our friend, Chantal-Lise, has moved a few times since we’ve known her. Each time, she has given us her beautiful plants. She gave us this gorgeous pinwheel hibiscus when she moved from Arizona to Colorado. This is the first time it has bloomed for us, we were quite surprised when we saw the gorgeous colors and patterns in its flowers! The photos are of the second flower to bloom.

I’ve had good intentions of keeping this blog current, as well as some others I have started and abandoned, but I keep getting caught up in social media. I’ve had enough of the political bashing and other negative posts, so I expect to be here more often.
I’ll never get caught up here, but perhaps I can be more current.
