My neice, Jenny, sent Pop his medals that my brother had left behind in MD. They are: Good Conduct, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Pop was shot after only 16 days in battle. He was getting a cot to move a wounded soldier when he got hit.

A couple of weeks ago,  Alex brought over some apples and a recipe.  I’m glad he did!

If you have seen photos of our cat, Mooch, you know she resembles a racoon. She is an indoor kitty, but once in a while she goes out on the patio with us. I walked near the back door tonight and saw eyes looking in, took a closer peek, opened the door and said, “Mooch! How did you get locked out?! ” Well, Mooch was curled up on my computer chair. Good thing that racoon went the OTHER way!

Well, it WAS dark and all I saw was the face.  😉
